The GraceLife Internship exists to help leaders develop character and discover purpose through hands-on ministry experience in a local growing church.
DISCOVER PURPOSE & DEVELOP CHARACTER
through Intentional spiritual development and personal leadership growth:
- Weekly mentoring from GraceLife Staff 
- Monthly Q&A with our Lead Pastor, Jimmy Currence 
- Designated ministry leadership roles & responsibilities 
- Possible opportunities to travel to learn from partnering churches & conferences for specialized training 
- Practical development of life skills: time management, professional communication, goal setting, conflict resolution, etc. 
EXPECTATIONS
- The GraceLife Internship is one year in duration, August to July, with potential to continue for a second year. 
- The Intern should expect to designate 20 - 25 hours each week to the internship. 
- Complete First Step and God Within LifeGroup. 
- Attend 1 weekend service and serve other 3 in the ministry area related to their track. 
- Interns are permitted to obtain part-time jobs but it should not conflict with internship expectations/commitments. 
- If pursuing higher education, the intern is expected to keep a 3.0 GPA. 
- Be available to assist different ministry areas as needed. Ex: Serve Day, Week of Prayer & Fasting, Conferences, etc. 
- Report to and communicate regularly with supervising staff. 
- Complete ministry assignments with excellence. 
TRACKS
Each intern will be assigned to a track where they will spend a large portion of their time gaining specialized training and experience within a specific field.
- NextGen Track (GraceLife Youth & gKids Teams) 
- Creative Track (Creative & Production Departments) 
- Outreach Track (Global Outreach Team & The Columbia Dream Center) 
- Worship Track (Worship & Production Departments
